Our world is dying. Our unconscious addiction to “more”, our thoughtless pursuit of money, our addiction to technology and progress, and the mistaken belief that we are somehow not connected to the natural world around us, all are conspiring to destroy the beautiful, God-given biosphere we inhabit.
In this portrait in my series, I explore what it means to ignore the environment around us while dressed for a pleasant stroll in the spring rain. The flower may represent the last of the brilliant, colorful world we love. Or perhaps it’s a glimmer of hope for the future.
